About Us

The Kamloops Giftsmith was established in Kamloops B.C. in 2008 by Donovan Pettigrew. Donovan earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Thompson Rivers University and began working as a goldsmith shortly after.  His attention to detail, creative approach to design, and love of materials led him to the creation of his own goldsmith studio.  During this time he enrolled in the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and after years of study in coloured stone and diamond grading, and gem identification, has finished as a Graduate Gemologist in 2018.  After working with clients for many years through his personal studio, he has relocated to downtown Kamloops in one of the most unique storefronts in the city.
